Case Study: Local Donut

From Startup to Standout: Building a Beloved Brand From Scratch

The Client:

Local Donut didn’t exist—yet. It began as an idea for a fresh, fun, community-focused donut shop. I built it from the ground up, with no blueprint, no team, and no brand—just a clear vision.

The Challenge:

Everything had to be created: a brand identity that stood out, a culture that could attract and retain a solid team, and systems that would make the shop profitable and sustainable. We also faced a daily challenge many food businesses struggle with—how to maximize sales without overproducing and wasting product.

The Solution & Result:

I led the brand development, built the operations and team culture, created scalable training systems, and implemented SOPs that run the business with consistency and ease. From onboarding to daily production, everything was documented, streamlined, and optimized.

The result? A shop that looks and operates like a franchise—but is 100% independent. We’ve become a local favorite, built a loyal following, and positioned ourselves to scale with ease. Local Donut is now a fully replicable “business in a box,” ready to expand or franchise whenever we’re ready.
